Small Business EHS quick tip for small business owners/leaders. This week's focus is protecting workers’ hearing at your workplace.

A hearing conservation program is applicable to any business that requires employees to wear hearing protection or if employees are exposed to 85db or more during an 8-hour period. These businesses must provide annual training for their employees, supply adequate hearing protection, and perform an annual audiogram.
